CaratUrwerk launches a gold UR-150 at $140,000, 25 pieces
The 18-carat yellow gold case is listed at CHF 105,000 before tax in Switzerland, 19.3% over the titanium version. Urwerk made 50 of that one, per variant.
Gold, and half the run. Urwerk has put the UR-150 in 18-carat yellow gold as the Golden Scorpion, limited to 25 pieces at $140,000 each in the United States.
If you retail independents: the gold premium here is 19.3% over the titanium list, on half the production.
If you value a UR-150: the 2024 Titan at CHF 88,000 is the comparable, not the gold.
What this is not: a US price verified at a dealer. It is a trade-press figure in a different currency from the Swiss list.

Grooves, not a movement. The 2N yellow gold case middle is satin-finished and microblasted, with concentric grooves, over a sandblasted Grade 5 titanium back. The satellite hour display is unchanged.
Same size, new metal. At 42.5mm wide the Golden Scorpion matches the 2024 case within half a millimetre. The change is material and run size, not dimension.
01What would change this call+
A US list under $130,000 at an authorised dealer. That would make $140,000 a converted Swiss price rather than a set US one, and the two-bases reading above would collapse into one.
02How a satellite hour display works+
Urwerk replaces hands with carriers that rotate three or four hour numerals around the dial. Each numeral travels along a printed minute track and then drops away as the next takes its place. The complication is read as a moving position rather than a pointer, and it is the house signature across the UR range.

Outside sources disagree in effect on the price, and that disagreement is disclosed rather than resolved: $140,000 is a United States retail figure and CHF 105,000 is a Swiss list excluding taxes, and neither publisher gives a rate or a duty, so no conversion is attempted and neither figure is presented as the other.
