What this is. Carat Capital publishes reporting and analysis on the jewelry, gemstone, precious metals and watch trades. By reading the site or our social channels you accept these terms.

Journalism, not advice. We report prices, market moves and deals with care, and we correct errors when we find them. But markets move and sources err: nothing we publish is financial, investment, purchasing or professional advice, and no figure should be relied on for a transaction without independent verification.
