What changed

A dedicated women's line arrives. Patek Philippe introduced Gondolo Ladies First at its Milan exhibition on 2 October. Two references carry published prices, $37,510 and $68,768.

What it means

  • If you stock women's watches: Both priced references are quartz and share one case size. The spread is execution, not metal.
  • If you quote a client: Only two of the six models shown carry a published price.
  • What this is not: A full price list. Four of six models are unpriced.

One case, two prices

The case is shared. Both priced references sit in the same 18k rose gold case, 31 x 34.8 mm.

Prices split wide. The published prices are $37,510 and $68,768, a difference of $31,258.

Setting carries it. Dividing, the lower reference is 54.55% of the higher, so 45.45% below it. Case metal, case size and movement are identical on the published description.

Notes on this table

References, case dimensions and both prices are JCK's, reported from the Milan exhibition on 2 October. The collection is described there as six quartz-powered cushion-shape models in two diamond-set executions, so both priced references are quartz. The difference is Carat Capital's subtraction, 68,768 − 37,510 = 31,258, and the multiple is Carat Capital's division, 68,768 ÷ 37,510 = 1.83. Four of the six models carry no published price.

Stern names the strategy

The brand goes direct. Patek's president said women have long bought the brand's men's watches and changed the strap and the colour. Of the new approach he said: “But now I would like to be more aggressive.”

The exhibition is the brand's largest

Scale is stated. The Milan show covers 2,900 square metres, or 9,514 square feet, and is described as the largest the brand has organised. It is the seventh in the series.

What to watch

  • 18 Oct 2026Milan exhibition closes. Tests whether the four unpriced models reach a published price.
  • 20 Oct 2026FH publishes September Swiss watch export data. Tests the demand backdrop this line is launching into.
  • Q4 2026Authorised dealer listings for the two priced references, against the $37,510 and $68,768 shown in Milan.

The story so far

  1. Audemars Piguet opened an 18-piece jewellery suite with no watch in it.
  2. A Patek split-seconds carried a CHF 4m estimate at Phillips.
  3. Patek, Rolex and AP pulled away on the resale board.

What would change this call

A published price for the remaining four models. The $31,258 gap described here is the whole range as currently priced, and a mid-priced reference would turn a two-point spread into a ladder.

How a reference number carries the price

Patek identifies each watch by a reference number, with suffixes for case metal and setting. 7043R and 7043/250GR share the 7043 case in rose gold; the /250 suffix marks the gem-set execution. Two watches on the same reference base can therefore differ in price by the setting alone, with no change in case, size or movement.

Method

JCK's report was fetched to raw bytes (115,379) and searched for the exact strings printed here: 37,510 one hit, 68,768 one, 7043R one, 7043/250GR one, 31 x 34.8 two, 2,900 square meters one, 9,514 one, Oct. 18 one, six quartz-powered one, more aggressive one. The page's own datePublished reads 2026-10-02. The byte count matches the Bureau's own independent fetch exactly, confirming the same document was read. The $31,258 difference, the 1.83 multiple and the 54.55%/45.45% shares are Carat Capital's arithmetic on JCK's two prices and are shown in the table note. The claim that the Milan show is the brand's largest is JCK's own characterisation and is attributed rather than verified against any series of exhibition floor areas; no independent trace for it was sought or found. The six-model count and the quartz movement are JCK's description of the collection, which is why both priced references are listed as quartz rather than confirmed individually. No entry price is claimed: only two of six models are priced, so $37,510 is the lower of two published figures, not established as the line's floor. The archive was searched before filing: in website/content/articles.json the strings Gondolo, Ladies First, 7043, Grand Exhibition and Watch Art each return zero hits. Patek returns nineteen articles, every one opened and read; none covers a women's collection launch or a Milan exhibition.
